Of course analogies, metaphors, go back to
already given experiences. For example:
she's hot, this drink is smooth, that formula
is beautiful, etc. All experience has a value,
each colour has a value and emotional impact.

The process of analog also begins with experience since experiences are
represented, stored, organized in and by our nervous systems. We always deal
with these representations. Hopefully these representations are actually
analog of the world they recreate. We are still here so I guess there is
hope on that score.
