[MD] Primer children's book

Wow!

A book for children is such a great idea!!!! I spend one day a week
with my 2 1/2 year old grandson. Each time I teach or reinforce a
new word, I think I'm participating in building his static
world. And the educational programming for little ones on the
television is very sophisticated. It boggles my mind how quickly he
learns. But there is always that question in my mind, 'How can I
teach him about Dynamic Quality?'. How can I suggest to him that
everything-is-connected-to-everything and is constantly changing. (I
think he is forgetting this.) As he more and more divides the world
into this and that, how do I suggest the world beyond himself and
what he can name?

As I like to take my grandson outside, lately I've been thinking that
the rustling wind might hold a clue - air. Strange how this seems to
point back to the early Greeks, and the neopagans, with their calling
of the Elements. And what stories do Buddhists, in their native land
and language, tell their children about the world?

Sorry for rambling, but I really think this is a terrific idea.

Marsha
