I'll take credit wherever I can find it, but I would describe myself as
having more of a personal rather than a social conscience. So the ethics of
honesty, thrift, hard work, self-discipline, reliability, etc. occupy my
conscience more than diversity, education, affirmative action, poverty,
environmentalism, etc.

Thanks for the kind words about my stab at a primer. A very tentative beginning
at best.
