Hi Ian,
You want a layperson Primer also?
OK. I would like to have a stab at that.

I'm delivering a MoQ lecture to a bunch of postgrads at the phil. dept.
soon, so thinking about how to get these ideas across to those who may never have
heard of the MoQ is useful for me.

I've condensed and added to the list:

The Metaphysics of Quality.
List revision. b.

1. Metaphysical basis: Quality - Mystic Monism.
2. MoQ ontology: Pure Empirical, pre-conceptual DQ / conceptual sq
3. MoQ evolution: DQ is the source/goal of simultaneously evolving levels of
sq.
4. sq ontology: Four evolutionary related, discrete levels, non reducible to
previous levels:
a. InO. Cosmology. Oldest patterns. Least Dynamic.
b. Bio. Life.
c. Soc. Imitated ritual - Celebrity status.
d. Int. Symbolic manipulation. Newest patterns. Most Dynamic.
5. New levels strive to evolve away from laws governing immediate older
level, and do so at an accelerating rate of evolutionary development.
6. Newer levels are more moral than older levels - it is moral for newer
levels to dominate older levels.
7. Older levels are less moral than newer levels - it is immoral for older
levels to dominate newer levels.
8. A higher Code of Art produces excellence at each level.
