OK, Mark we're playing real-time e-mail tag here (which I'm OK with as
long as we don't get complaints from the neighbours).
I have to say I don't see a great improvement in version b.
Remember I already liked version a, for the right audience.
Your point (1) inlcudes five words three of which would be a turn-off
to a "lay person" Metaphysics, Mystic and Monism.
Quality is the word people will recognise ... that's why Bob chose it.
Mark: Sorry Ian, rev b. isn't for the layperson. That's for a later stab.
No, this rev b. is just a tweak of rev a. for us.
You're audience of Phil Postgrads is hardly "lay people" even if they
are new to MoQ. (Your pitch seems right for that audience.)
These e-mails (and all the various web-sites we have between us) are
on public display. As I say an expert on the subject is not
necessarily the best person to draft or edit public facing summaries
... though I'm not doubting you, or any one of us could do it, given
will, time, and the encouragement of the others. I'm just trying to
spread the load, on our mutual behalfs.
Ian
Mark: I was simply listing the elements that may well serve a Primer when
written for who ever.
This is not for the layperson.
Love,
Mark
