[On books written by groups]
All books have been written through and towards dialogic (collective)
participation. That is, they are externally dialogic in their response to and
anticipation of their reception in the evolutionary mythos. And they are
internally dialogic by virtue of their ventriloquative nature. It is social
habit only that we refer to "one book" being written by "one author", a habit
I'd say is guided by the need for "celebrity" rather than the recognition of
the many voices (past, present and anticipating future) that contribute to the
formation, creation and dissemination of any "one book".
