It makes me want to go to the store, compared to
any other, if it was around here, just to see what
it's all about.
Capitalism, free market, I'm waiting to hear
from, was it Stella? To see what's the difference. I
do see from Arlo's point that merchantilistic
capitalism has $ on the mind so much that empire
building was the game. Such as the Ohio Company
seeking land in Western PA, with that familiar George
Washington that went to lay claim from the French.
Virginia needed more land you know, to keep business
hoping for England. And then we have the 'Shot heard
round the world', as the French and Indian War, as
business expansion was ONLY motivator. Well, as Arlo
pointed out $ is THE motivator. Yeah, we've got all
these side ventures going on like family, working in
the yard, and fishin', but what is the strongest wind
that blows us to maintain everything we've strived for
- $. I really boil much of this monetary necessity
down to large populations, and without $, large
populations probably wouldn't be very well organized.
It's that power and how so much revolves around $, and
what the heck do people do in cities without getting
too bored and ending up in gangs or seeking many
avenues drugs, thugging, sex, reputation and
appearance (stylish clothes, hair cuts, etc...) since
there's nothing else to really do in a place that
concentrates on people, people, people. It's
narrow-minded. Well, I'd better quit now before I go
on and on and on....
