pirsig's philosophy is contrasted directly with plato
in zmm. plato made the good a form, ie rationally
apprehended.  the modified plato quote at the start of
the book is pirsig using plato against plato.

any new concept, let alone a metaphysics, is going to
require an effort to understand.
i think when you understand something well you can
communicate it well. when the MoQ is understood well
it will be communicated well. understanding the MoQ is
the purpose of this forum.
