Hi Mike,

You say 'The heart is your visceral feeling' but it's not mine.

I know your metaphorical use of head and heart is in widespread use in the
West but I don't like it. I get a picture of a man holding his arms out
palms up, his eyes pessimistically gazing upwards, his chest open showing
his beating heart with a sword puncturing the side and probably three large
drops of blood about to fall.

I agree in general with how you have described the creative process but I
just find that metaphorical part inaccurate and sentimental. You say even
that the heart is more open to DQ - that's just crap.
