Hi Marsha,

yes, self-exploration too; there is also self-indulgence and even narcissism
in creating art. Art has many uses.

I have turned paintings upside down and on their end too - but only with
abstracts, with abstracts it's almost as if you have 4 paintings in 1 to
suit different moods. I have not tried that with representational stuff
though so far, thanks for the tip.
