Mark and Ham,
[Mark]
DQ isn't a theory. DQ is experienced.
What experience do we have of Essence?
Mark, this is exactly what I was saying in that
one post, days ago, when I said Ham is missing a
CONNECTION between essence and human beings. Ham can
'somehow' talk about essence, yet, essence is not
connected to human beings in any way. This is all
fine and dandy, but how might essence be seen in
humans, through humans, in trees, flowers, etc...
Essence is supposed to be 'not other'. The only
connections that Ham has made between essence and
being is that nothingness is graphed by essence
noticing a not other/other split and thus, nothingness
or not other and other or using Ham's terminology
Difference occurs. Then from this Awareness. Yet,
once you get into all this stuff, it gets very heady,
as you so well pointed out. Ham is in the Church of
Reason. He can't connect essence with everyday life.
Essence by his defining, must be separate from
everything that is existing.
[Mark]
'Individualism' or 'proprietary proprioceptive
awareness' or something?
Remember, Mark, what your saying here. Ham's
thesis is proprietary awareness and such. Thus, his
thesis and discussions are his, and his only.
Somebody may come close to agreeing with him, but it
will be an agreement that will be of Ham's making and
thesis. Ham is not open to anything new. He's
settling upon his own, proprietary thoughts. He is
trying to put the world down on paper, when the world
will eventually weather that paper to pieces.
The rain comes, the wind blows,
The bright white snow does fall
And I feel the pulse of Death,
I open my heart to every breath taken
Now these are the words of a world that we all
may come to experience. These words are not mere
letters. These are events. These happen. I wake up
in the morning and feel the sun on my face.
[Ham]
Possibility and actuality are co-dependent in
existence but coincide in the non-contradictory
Source, in which opposites like
'positive/negative' and 'being/nothing' are equivalent
I read this, look into the darkness of night. I
read this again. I listen to the crickets. I read
this once more, pause, and then I hope this statement
isn't some kind of spell that let's loose a festering,
growling, and salivating beast that will jump out of
the darkness where the trees are so it may try to eat
me. Ahhh, it won't, so, I'm going to relax and drink
my tea before bed. I'm leaving the window open, too,
so I may get FULL from the night....
Night Good,
SA
