the US is the most fascist place i have ever been,
Platt.

you never forget where you are in the states: there
are flags EVERYWHERE. banks, shops, houses, cars,
clothes...jesus it seems scary surreal when you aint
used to this nauseating patriotic fervour.

such insularity: how can 'the world series' involve
one country? (oh and a canadiam team).

so many fine people i have met here and so many have
basically apologised for their country's actions...but
how can they be held responsible? doesn't seem fair.

maybe the US is simply too big.
isn't it time to put the giant out of his misery?
