Arlo & Ben,
There are 4 kinds of people: those who can reason well & have good values; those that can reason well but don't have good values; those that can't reason well but have good values & those that neither can reason well nor have good values.  For short, let's call them Rand, Chomsky, Bush & McVie, respectively.  Now we could keep Chomsky away from impressionable youth, provide Bush with smart advisors & put McVie in jail & doing this might have good consequences.  But could we all agree on this & could we get them to agree?
