Nonsense. Good people come from good parents and quite often from not so 
good parents. Getting married says nothing about whether you are good or 
bad or whether you kids will be good or bad.

So let me get this straight. From B' and C':

Fred and Sarah get married. Every Friday when Fred gets his welfare 
cheque and whenever he can steal enough money he gets drunk, goes home 
and kicks the crap out of Sarah. They have 10 in-wedlock conceived kids 
and they also get beaten senseless by Fred cos they looked at him funny 
or answered him back. He couldn't care less about their education, 
health or anything else to do with them.

Jim and Betty are not married. Jim loves Betty and his 3 out-of-wedlock 
conceived kids more than anything in the world. When he's not working 
hard to earn money to bring up his family he spends all his spare time 
with Betty and the kids, makes sure the kids get a good education, are 
healthy etc. etc.

But according to you Fred and Sarah is the 'good' way to go because 
they're married!
As you lot across the pond say - 'Go figure'!
