On more note. These people DID choose. They choose to enact protections from
exploitation. Perhaps if the mining companies, and sweatshop owners, and all
these places would have treated their workers better in the first place,
without "socialist programs", there would have been less need for these
regulations you now find so abhorrent.
Instead, they did not. And the mine workers decided to form a group that said,
if you want us to mine for you, you must treat us like human beings. The mine
owner, then, could decided NOT to mine, right? Seems like that's just as valid
an outcome of the "free market" as any.
