Anybody watch COUNTDOWN with Keith Olbermann? As far as cable news goes, that's
as good as it gets.

[Arlo]
I agree, Olbermann is among the best out there. You may find it odd that I also
consider Bill O'Reily among the best (my respect for him grew exponentially
over his refusal to bow to big oil). But honestly I think the best news
available to the American public are NPR and the BBC (but then again, I'm a
liberal commie pinko, so I would think that)... discounting Stewart and
Colbert, of course. Happily, both NPR and the BBC make all (or most) their news
shows available for free via iTunes and other podcast services. (Wait Wait
Don't Tell Me is a longtime favorite).

"Who is the worst President ever?"

[Arlo]
Well the most ineffectual must have been William Harrison, through no fault of
his own. It'd be hard to argue against it being Warren Harding, but Bush is
certainly giving him a run for the money. For some more on this, see
Wikipedia's Historical Rankings of US Presidents
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_rankings_of_United_States_Presidents).
