Held off responding Platt to your ludicrous initial question until
today's good news.

We (US or UK) could blow any military or civil, vehicle or
installation of the face of the earth anywhere anytime. That's not the
issue. The fact that we don't is a matter of enlightened choice.

This is a very complex and dangerous game, for a game it is.
Trigger-happy "cowboys" were the last thing the situation needed.
