The leading 2 Democrats [for their party's Presidential nomination] are either Hilary & Barack or Hilary & John.  Either way, since Barack & John have only had 1 wife each, that means that Hilary has 2 wives.  Maybe she should run on a ticket with Romney.

So if the facts don't support your generalization, choose a smaller, more select sample?

Moral of the story:
1)  Don't look at red state/blue state; states are much too heterogenous. You get a different demographics if instead you look at counties or smaller areas which track rural, suburban & urban. 
2) Red/blue tracks Democratic/Republican, not necessarily liberal/conservative.
3) Conservatives might be fiscal conservatives or foreign policy hawks & not social conservatives.
4) To gauge respect for the institution of marriage, which is better: 20% of the populace divorcing 1 time or 10% of the populace divorcing 2 times?
5)  20% of the populace divorcing after 20 years of marriage or 10% of the populace divorcing after 10 years?
