My "implication" was to point out Pirsig's
feelings about moving backwards towards
Victorianism, the position you advocate, which I did and will do again.

present period is the collapse of values" (LILA)
That he said there were, or were not, some good
qualities about Victorianism is neither implied
nor disputed. In fact, it doesn't matter at all in this context.
