[Arlo]
Oh fun day! This one will keep me smiling until Monday.

[Platt]
Oh, I see. Instead of believing what the Independent says in its headline and
lead, I should go to the library and research the minutia of an issue like I'm
preparing a thesis before forming an opinion. Yeah, right.

[Arlo]
Yeah, reading a short article past the headline is "preparing a thesis". Hehe.
Too good.

Ant... witness the sound-bite mentality of modern America. We can't be bothered
to read something before we formulate an opinion! Of all the nerve!

[Platt]
Since when is it incumbent on a newspaper reader to read fully read every
article?

[Arlo]
Oh, lordy! Wooo hooo!!!

[Platt]
Instead, it's the responsibility of responsible journalism to tell the facts
from the headline and lead on.

[Arlo]
There was nothing unfactual about the headline. As Ant explained, Primecare is
part of the movement to privatize portions of the NHS. That the Guardian
assumes some intelligence among its readers is to be admired... unlike talk
radio apparently.

"Preparing a thesis"... Much too good!
