Naw, it would be cruel to disturb your fantasy that someone or something is
in charge. It is a belief that gives hope. It makes you feel secure. It
gives a sense that you have power in the world or at least a pipeline to
power in the world. 

A lot of very intelligent people have woven security blankets of reason to
avoid the cry of the wolves they hear howling in that word Oops.
