Stated previously: Platt,

Based on what premises are you concluding that to smoke marijuana
will make a person's brain numb.

Marsha

Platt: If you don't believe it has a numbing effect, OK by me. I believe it
does,
like booze.

Poot: I will also point out that the effects of both depend on quantity, and
quality. Booze can be a creative stimulant, but once the line is crossed,
you become a bumbling fool (in some cases) and/or pass out.

Although marijuana is not quite as dramatic with the passing out part, it
can be quite stimulating. However, it does have a line that once crossed
is similar to booze, but a person just tends to "zone out" rather than lose
conciousness.

However, there is a sharp contrast between behavioral tendencies of
drunkeness and being stoned of course.

As with all systems in the MOQ, many things are fine in moderation or in a
natural equilibrium, but not so great in excess.
