[MD] seeing beyond the mirror (was: Heads or tails?)

I do tend to run on and run over people. I hope it is clear that the point I
am making is not that anyone should adopt a single mode of thinking. We all
have the ability to understand many things in the same way and the same
things in many ways. The trick is always in figuring out what is the
appropriate way and most off that is a function of context. As the Preacher
said, "There is a time to every purpose under heaven."

The robot story reminds me of David Brin's Kiln People where you can make
these androids and send them to work in your stead. I really need one of
those.
