I think we're missing each other Craig.
Referring to her as a Russian emigre - I was not commenting on her
foreign language skills, but her crude comparative politics - from
totalitarian socialism to free-market democracy.
Referring to the number of words of writing was nothing to do with
objecting to the length of reading - I was pointing out that there
wasn't much philosophy or politics in OTHER THAN the basic points
mentioned here endless times already.
Referring to previous philosohers like Socrates and Mill I am not
concerned with originality or lack of it - just that she didn't seem
to add anything, beyond the no-brainer "easy-bits" aka - Freedom good,
imposition of force bad, and take responsibilty for your own
philosophy of life.
Does she actually offer enything else ?
Frankly I can't see anything in Randian Objectivism likely to a appeal
to a Pirsigian who recognises that the primacy of "objects" (eg
capital) is a fallacy in the first place.

You'll like her writing style if you like that kind of writing. I've known people who upon finishing "Atlas Shrugged" turn to the first page & begin reading again.
