Platt,

Your premise is; time is linear, please explain how you know this, bearing
in mind that "line" is a human mental concept. I don't deny that I was born
in the past, I am saying that the past does not exist except in now, and it
is a mental concept.

I know your position is that a "god" put time there, as well as everything
else...I already understand that position on reality and would rather not
waste time discussing who has the right "god" when I could actually learn
something new.

Micah,

I know the past exists because if you weren't born from your mother's womb
you
wouldn't be reading this, a truth you cannot deny without acknowledging
you were born in the past. In other words, your perception of now is
dependent
on your past existence. Of course, you can claim your were never born, but
then
you would be asked how know that.
