     It is the - experience - that I was trying to
relate to Pete, so... Ron if I understand you
correctly then you do see where I was coming from. 
The experience of the bum is on the fringe of society.
 As you also point out, what a bum is (and Marsha and
I were discussing this too) can be not just somebody
leaving under the bridge.  It depends on how we define
bum.  I believe Peter was thinking all bums are meth
heads.  I wasn't thinking about meth head bums.
