To each his own. I notice you failed to respond to the obvious fact of human
purpose not to mention the purpose of life to survive and reproduce -- an
inexplicable urge to materialists and reductionists whose purpose is to
know.

I guess I just lost track of how many times I have said that we have
purpose. The point is that this purpose is not resident in the universe.
Certainly it is a truism that if we have it and we are in the universe then
there is purpose in the universe. This is a lot different than saying iron
filings line up in a magnetic field because it is their purpose to act this
way. Or that the universe was created so that it could become "better".

Not a trace? In the interests of opening minds, you might want to take a

As far as the dangers of dust blowing into a mind left wide open, this is an
excellent case in point! In order to find a kind word for psychic stuff you
have to resort to someone's book review blog, on some kind of New Zealand
version of MySpace. The internet is a beautiful thing but you have to know
how to use it. Blogs, free home pages, forums of any sort can point you
towards things but should never be used as evidence or as sources for much
of anything. They are just people's opinions not authoritative in any way.
Having some capacity for discernment is not at all the same thing as having
a closed mind.
