Here are some ways I'm personally working towards eliminating global 
warming:

1. Use energy efficient lighting
2. Shut down PCs at night
3. Unplug electrical equipment not in use
4. Turn down your thermostat in the winter, up in the summer
5. Walk more
6. Use public transportation
7. Buy energy efficient vehicles
8. Ride a bike
9. Recycle plastics, paper, metals
10. Grow your own vegetables and fruit
11. Plant trees
12. Use a clothesline to dry your clothes
13. Remove your name from marketing lists
14. Install wind generators and solar panels - power companies (by law) have 
to allow you to hook into the grid and give you a credit for the excess 
power you produce.
15. Add insulation to your attic and walls
16. Install high efficiency furnace
17. Vote for candidates who are aware and willing to work towards global 
warming solutions
18. Don't water your lawn
19. Make sure your car tires are properly inflated
20. Choose the highest efficiency appliances that are on the market
21. Don't listen to those who say the individual won't make a difference; 
the individual is the only one who can make a difference
22. Don't read "real" newspapers
23. Teach your children to conserve
24. Think in terms of your carbon footprint
25. Work with an environmental conscience
