     Yes, many have a stake, economically, due to high
investment, to keep the current economy.  Key word: 
current.  Any further advancements, that are dynamic,
are seemingly stifled.

     Yes, responsibility... being independent, going
out on ones' own to take care, not being dependent
upon others, whether government forced policies, local
or federal.  Grass roots is a powerful action, but how
much is too late, not enough, and stuck, as Arlo
mentioned with all the barges leaving just New York
City.  The pollution raining down on the U.S. from
China, etc...
