It has nothing to do with climate being a chaotic system. Platt has been
outright deceived if he actually believes the Middle Ages were warmer than
now. It is simply not true. The polar icecaps obviously did not melt. Nor
did the glaciers that are fast disappearing around the globe.

It has everything to do with the climate being chaotic but that is really
not the point at this point.

Here are some ways I'm personally working towards eliminating global 
warming:

Excellent list Dan, I really do make an effort in this area but about all I
can muster is slightly less than half of your suggestions. While I think
individual effort is important collective effort is required. I fear that if
all we can do is count on individual good will, we are doomed.
