[MD] Painting

Greetings,

The book, 'ART versus NONART' was interesting.  It added a new 
perspective.  I didn't find the second part as interesting and put it 
aside for another day, but Part One had me thinking.  I had never 
considered painting as visual thinking.  But that is exactly what it 
is for me.  I am manipulating symbols and spinning a story with a 
brush.  Of course there are other interesting and challenging things 
too, but that's the main thing.

I suppose everyone does it differently, what do you do?
