Maybe you are right, but from what I've read about Lincoln's time the vitriol
and distortions on both sides were much greater than now, yet the outcome was
good. So I don't worry much about the current state of politics. If there is one
thing I've learned from you it's not to distort my thinking by fear of what the
future may bring. But, I could be wrong.
