Khaled,
This post brings my point of looking into C.S. Pierce and Wittgenstien
in the "theory/study of meaning"
into focus. this subject would dispell much of the misunderstanding
which is at the heart
Of the majority of the conflict between the societies of the world. Your
post is extremely valuable
And much appreciated.I would sincerely like to explore this angle of
philosophy but find it slow and
rough going on my own, I'm going to need the weekend to give this post
the reply it deserves.
Thank you Khaled.

Greetings
Every time the debate heats up over a subject on these forums, we find
ourselves asking if the key words which we are debating mean the same to
each person.
I have mentioned before that the bible study classes I attended in my
private school and that were taught in Arabic, don't quiet match the
American/English ideology I hear now.
the main reason for the differences are: time, language and space.
While watching Dawkins' documentary on channel4, one thing stood out
that I can't seem to shake off. He was interviewing a Rabbi who was born
and raised in London, yet he spoke with an accent. I have quiet a few
relatives who were born and raised here and they are able to speak 2
languages without an accent, the only time you get an accent is when
isolationism takes hold. Not a good thing really when you are supposed
to be part of a new culture.
Then I came a cross the following article, I thought I would share with
you. The man is brilliant and recaps a lot of the discussions we have
had here and shed a new light on some old struggles.

By the way, he is running for the French Presidency.
Any thoughts
