Agreed. That's the debate we were having with Paul a couple of years ago.
In the sentences above you are using "intellect" as meaning "what is
traditionally understood by intellect". That inlcudes the MoQ itself,
as simply the highest (curretly) evolved intellectual pattern. I
simply see all layers as continuing to evolve with the MoQ itself.
That "simultaneous" nature of being "the part which contains the
whole" - is the clincher for me. A recursion, a Quine, a Hofstadterian
indication that we really do have have something living and
intelligent.
