Arlo also said he had no doubt that the report of Ann Nicole Smith's death was
the truth, i.e., a fact. I trust you are not uncertain about that, either. As
for predictions about the future, I agree that vast uncertainty lies in that
direction. Even local forecasts about what the weather will be like next week
I take with a grain of salt, much less what will happen umpteen years from now.
Finally, I presume most contributors to this site are "smart guys," as are the
scientists who disagree with those who claim humans are the cause of global
warming.
