I've learned to be wary of people who come back to me with "so what you're
saying is..." It usually means they want me to have said something else.
Here is a typical example. I did NOT say "the world is unimaginable"; I
said that Nothingness is unimaginable. The difference makes you the
word-spinner, not me.
Unlike some others, I'm not creating poetry or "feel-good" prose. I'm
trying to elaborate abstract concepts using as much of the common vernacular
as possible in order to present them clearly. Occasionally I have to resort
to special terms or define common words a special way. If you view this as
"spinning webs of words," then you're obviously more interested in playing
word games than in considering the concepts.
