Note -- "Quality is essentially outside definition," i.e., outside intellect.

Not in my book.

The division of Quality into Dynamic/static is, as Pirsig says, a contradiction
in terms, a convenience for the sake of writing a metaphysics. When you recognize
there is no division between experience and values -- that what is is Quality --
then you avoid all contradictions and logical absurdities and just hear the
music. You have found a bridge over paradox.
