Hi SA,

I meant additive not in the sense that they are changable, contingent,
that they evolve etc ... that's a given.

I was using Dan's clarification of Pirsig's point which I understood as..

Physical is Physical

Biological is (Physical and) Biological

Social is (Physical and Biological and) Social

Intellectual is (Physical and Biological and Social and) Intellectual

Additive in that "and" sense.
