DM: Up to this point I was almost with you, then you claim
that science can cramp metaphysics, why? how? No it can't.
In a way your throw away comment should not be taken so
seriously, but look you seem to think science has an
influence on metaphysics, well No! this is over extension,
a false claim of authority and scientism. And if we open the
gates, we let through all the other crap, like the very dodgy
politics that so many evolutionary psychologists seem to
try and justify (See John Dupre: Human Nature and the Limits
of Science). Science is great but without the fantasy based
over extensions please.

And this is technology and commerce not science but
why does all the stuff I buy seem to break down just after
it goes out of guarantee? I am thinking of going back
to vinyl and books!
