No, I do not accept "emergence" as a worthwhile explanation. It's tantamount to
"oops" which explains nothing.

Which leaves only two options. Either the cells possessed the necessary
intelligence to conceptualize, preplan, and then deliberately build a human
body (a position Pirsig describes as "absurd"), or some other
"thing/God/being/force" planned, designed and then built us (theism). So which
is it Platt? Did "Quality" have a blueprint for human bodies in mind billions
of years ago and then systematically work to produce us? Or did your lone,
wonderful individual cell "invent" humans and then get a bunch of sheeplike
cells to carry out its work? Before humans existed, where was the
conceptualization and intent to form humans in a particular way located?
