Is that the sound of reason I hear, or are you baiting us.
No one really knows what went wrong and where, and maybe all the above
reasons are to blame, and only time will fix things ( i.e the IRA)
If one looks at he largest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia, one
says well there is hope.
So religion is not to blame, a little politics, a little colonialism, a
little oil, a little passion, and there you have a recipe for disaster.
As for assimilating in a new culture, I have posted on that before. Some
things take time. And remember that what freedom you give people like the
Amish, you have to give the rest.
