Hi David,

I am thinking about your post.  I made some notes to myself for 
consideration, and a reference to the code of art was in them.  And 
it's also mixed up with this quote, which seems a definition of the 
code of art.  Especially the two last sentence.

"The place to improve the world is first in one's own heart and head
and hands, and then work outward from there. Other people can talk
about how to expand the destiny of mankind. I just want to talk about
how to fix a motorcycle. I think that what I have to say has more
lasting value."   (ZMM, Chapter 25)

Any body see a separate response, on the social and intellectual 
levels (and maybe other levels), to the code of art point to 
something interesting?
