Moi, mu, me.  The context is always changing.   When I was young, I 
very much liked the song 'I am a Rock" by Simon&Garfunkle.  A fellow 
(a sky god) I was seeing at the time made the point of telling me 
that I was not a rock, but a pebble.  I was very hurt, but now 
realize he was absolutely right.
