Spookily, when we were in Nashville weekend before last we went to the
Frist art gallery and it was the last day of an exhibition of American
Watercolours ... on loan from Boston I think ? I was going to mention
to Platt, but I forgot till you reminded me Marsha.

Anyway there were several John Singer Sargent's on show ... two in
particular which impressed me - can't remember the titles - one was a
reclining woman in a garden and the other was some dappled sun-lit
boats in a Mediterranean harbour - deceptively simple light and
colour.
