Ron,
How is apple pie and motherhood unfair? Are you going to be the
monitor who determines what is sarcasm and what is acceptable
discussion? Maybe your interpretation is biased by your sensitivity?
I am sensitive to your insecurity. I seem to be the only women who
is insane enough to express their imperfect opinion of this list. I
consider no reply to be unwritten sarcasm withheld because I'm a
women. That may be true, or not true. But it's my problem. My
reaction is my problem.
Also, sarcasm may reflect the conflicted feelings of the
writer. Who's to say? Personally, I'd rather have a free flow of
ideas, warts and all. If that means I get a pie in the face, so be
it. It's: "Sticks and stone may break my bones, but names can never
hurt me." And who's to say where the next big idea will come from,
or how it will be packaged.
And, I am not going to keep a file of your likes and dislikes. As I
stated earlier, it's about the free flow of ideas, not Ron Kulp, or
Marsha Valkyr. If you think someone's sarcasm is going to hurt you,
don't read their posts.
Marsha
