[Micah]
On an individual basis when I die reality, for me, no longer exists and what
could exist for others is unknowable to me and irrelevant.
[Arlo]
Letting this stand for a minute...
[Micah]
When all humans are gone, reality itself will no longer exist.
[Arlo]
This is the strange jump you make. If you can only know "your reality", and you
admit above what "could exist for others is unknowable", why do you claim here
"to know" that without humans "reality will no longer exist". Maybe it will.
How do you know that "reality will no longer exist" when YOU die? Why not just
say the only logical thing you can say here?
"When I am gone, reality itself will no longer exist."
[Micah]
reality exists only in the presence of humans.
[Arlo]
How do you know reality exists in the presence of anyone but you?
