We could ask the same question about the experiences of scientists during 
experiments. Its no different from any other area of inquiry. We have to 
guard against fraud and abuse in medicine, rocket science or anything else.

Okay, I'll bite. What in the world does "the sphere of the possible" mean? 
Is it Sartre or did you pick that up from Polyester Pete at a sales seminar? 
As you've been using it, it sounds like fake high school existentialism.
