Hi Marsha,
Maybe my post turned out to be a bit of synchroncity for you. You never know
what effect what you write will have. All I know is that when I expect beneficial
things to happen, they invariably do. Of course, there are exceptions, like the
death of my daughter. A heartbreaking exception to be sure. But, I often think that
intention or will is a force in universe like gravity or electromagnitism.
Call it a form of psychic energy if you will. Not enough to save my daughter, but
a viable, vital force nevertheless, capable of marvelous things.
Whatever . . . there is a huge missing piece in the naturalist's view of the world
-- a piece revealed by little miracles, by humor and, most of all, by beauty. So
long as I keep myself attuned to those aspects of life, I am fulfilled. In
other words, openness to DQ is good. :-)
