Agreed Ron, viruses and whole ecosystems of viruses and bacteria,
evolve very rapidly and are observable.
I say we all "see" evolution happening every day, even Platt,
particularly social and intellectual, and even biological.
What we don't all see is the same "reasoning" for the processes and
events that we see happening. Some people assume simple causal agency,
and get stuck looking in the dark for "evidence" and "proof" - some
appreciate the recursive nature of the processes involved and find
their intellect evolving as a result.
