Would be interested in why you think the following draws "heavily on the MOQ
perspective." Looks to me like a Howard Zinn approach to history. Thanks.

Connor draws extensively from the idea that "intellect" emerges from the broad
milieu of social action. He also rejects the notion that abstract theory drives
technology, but restores "craft" to a position of respect in the larger
evolution of social progress, a schism talked about in ZMM. In fact, he
attributes (rightly) intellectual advances to a foundation of activity by
artisans, craftspeople, laborers, and others. This creates a "ready-point" (my
term) of probability where intellectual advances are more-or-less inevitable.
Had it not been Pasteur, it would have been someone else.
